What we ordered:
Sashimi Combo: very fresh and delicious; fresh wasabi for dipping was AWESOME!
Rolls:
Super Mexican: tasty
Sweet and Spicy: very tasty
Cooked Dishes:
Chicken Teriyaki: basic but good (on the side was korean yellow radish)
Spicy Pork: Definitely a Korean dish-tasted like gochujang. Not my favorite.
Fish was fresh! Definitely recommend. Decent price point for sushi. Fresh grated wasabi was so awesome -

They have a good variety of fish. My friend got the Chirashi and I got the Nigiri Omakase and an order of Uni.
I noticed was some of the fish looked matte and dry but I didn't think anything of it until I had my Uni.
It was disgusting.
Watery, stinky, fowl.
I honestly panicked as I held it in my mouth, not knowing if I should spit it out or swallow it. It was after that I noticed the remaining uni looked pale and sweaty, not plump and vibrant mustard yellow like when they are fresh.
From the fish to the uni, I got a sense that the chefs don't really give AF... But at a restaurant serving raw fish, you really need the chefs to care!!! I'm not taking any chances with sushi. Not coming back. -

MMM. That green sauce that they serve their chirashi, nigiri and sashimi with is SOOOO GOOD. It's like green onion mixed with wasabi mixed with something else, I can't quite figure it out. It's addicting though, for sure and definitely packs a BIG punch if you eat too much. If someone knows what it is or how to make it, please share the secret :)!
Kazuma Sushi, how did I not discover you until recently? It's the perfect spot for sushi that's fancy but not overly expensive, so mid-tier sushi if I can say so myself. Their fish quality is impeccable and each cut of fish is pretty thicc and very fresh.
I've tried the Sashimi Moriwase, The Chirashi Bowl, the Fusion Nigiri and the Nigiri Combo, and all four were amazing. I've never seen Toro served with the Chirashi Bowl so I was pleasantly surprised as it's one of my favorite cuts of fish! Price wise, the nigiri or sashimi options usually start at around $20. I think that's super worth it for the quality you're getting. All these options were served with the bomb diggity green sauce.
Appetizers are pretty creative in terms of flavor, everything looks pretty good, and I'm looking forward to trying the rest. Garlic Butter Albacore was so rich and flavorful, and the fried calamari was crispy and served with a creamy aioli. The only disappointing thing was probably the ceviche cold plate. Portion was so small for what you paid. Other than that, I love this place! Can't wait to indulge and satisfy my sushi cravings again. -

Fresh fish at reasonable price points. I stopped by and tried their Omakase nigiri for $30 and it was definitely worth the $30 considering other places charge more for a smaller portion and the fish selection is higher end. The Omakase comes with 10 pieces premium selection of nigiri sushi and a tuna maki. Although they didn't explain to me what the selection of fish were, but I believe there were salmon, tuna, toro, hamachi, ama ebi, sea bream, kampachi, scallop, uni, and halibut fin (engawa). My favorite pieces were the ama ebi, scallop, halibut fin, and toro, with the halibut fin being the star of the show. The uni was good and not bitter, but just missing that wow factor that I get from other places that serves uni.
I thought the house soy sauce that was brushed on the sushi was a bit too salty, in addition to the sushi rice being slightly too salty and less vinegary, which ultimately brought the whole piece of sushi to be too salty on the taste buds as oppose to being sweet, savory, and slightly tangy as I hoped it would be. I think it could be missing some sweetness and vinegar in the sushi rice. However, with the help of the house made chunky fresh wasabi, it did help bring more flavor and depth to the sushi.
The omakase was good (3.5 stars for flavor and 4 stars for a good deal), but lacking that umami flavor in a good sushi. For omakase sets served at similar style places such as Amami (just slightly higher price point), Amami definitely delivers far better in terms of flavor. Kazuma fills you up with a pretty great selection of nigiri for that bang for your buck. They also present their dishes pretty well too, so I will give them that. -

The first time I went here was for my fiancé's cousin's birthday and fell in love ever since.
They can get pretty busy despite the restaurant being big. It's nice and clean here. Staff is friendly.
I've tried different rolls here, but my go to's are usually the lion king roll, bay island roll, flaming dragon, I think we've had the pink lady. I'm more of a rolls girl. My fiancé's sister orders the nigiri stuff. They have a variety of sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. Seriously, top 5 best sushi I've had.
